The first public session on interoperability tests of the equipment in accordance with IEC 61850 took place from 8 to 10 April 2013, at the Department of relay protection and automation of power systems NIU MEI (Moscow) a leading competence center in the field of IEC 61850 in Russia.
The following organizations took part in the session: "RusHydro" JSC, "Profotech" CJSC, "Novinteh" CJSC, "Research Center "Bresler" LLC, "Prosoft-Systems" LLC, "Engineering center "Energoservice" CJSC, "TEKVEL" LLC, FGUP VEI, "V-LUX" CJSC (Hirschmann distributor), "Analyst-TS" LLC, NPK "Optolink LLC".
During the session, the company "Profotech" successfully completed testing of in-house fiber optic voltage and current transducers relating the data transmission under the protocol IEC 61850-9-2LE with the following devices: microprocessor device of Power system protection TOR-300 ("Research Center "Bresler" LLC), measuring transducer ENIP-3 ("Engineering center "Energoservice" CJSC), electricity meter ARIS-EM ("Prosoft-Systems" LLC). Also it was successfully tested under the terms of PRP protocol for data transmission under protocol IEC 61850-9-2LE for compatibility with commutators produced by Hirschmann (RSP35-08033O6TTSCCV9HPE2R).
Based on the results of testing we have prepared protocols containing a description of tested devices\software (including device type, firmware version, other important basic parameters), detailed information on the parameters specified for each device during testing and the results obtained.
The representatives of "RusHydro" JSC and "MRSK of North-West" JSC attended the meeting as independent experts.
