At the end of July, CEO of CJSC "Profotech" O.V. Rudakov and CEO of LLC LISIS D.V. Kishinevskiy signed an agreement of intent to cooperate in development and following implementation of solutions for digitalized substations and active-adaptive power grids (smart grids).
As part of the agreement, it’s supposed to join efforts in development work and following projects and functionally compatible solutions implementation for digitalized substations and smart grids on the base of international standards; to create components of smart power systems of active-adaptive grids; to cooperate in the field of total implementation of products, technical solutions and technologies as well as in the field of establishing a domestic complex of active-adaptive grids in the future.
As a first step, Profotech and LISIS will demonstrate their collaborative technical solution on GIGRE 2014 international exhibition in Paris.
The solution is designed for substation automation by “digitalized substation” technology and consists of digital fiber-optical current and voltage instrument transformers and a software package that performs all the functions of substation protection and control, and operates on the universal server platforms. Presentation of the solution will be held as a part of exposition of Russian Energy Agency.
